Has the Pokemon anime really been on for 15 seasons? I didn’t believe it either, until the Pokemon TV app so kindly reminded me I was getting old. Old, bitter, and still completely willing to watch Pokemon in my free time.
The Pokemon TV app found its way to the App Store and Google Play mid-yesterday and offers episodes from all of the show’s 15 seasons for free. But wait, there’s a catch(’em all)!
Users will only be given access to 50 episodes per week, out of the 700+ episodes available. Siliconera has confirmed with a Pokemon Company representative that all content will be free of charge, aside from those pesky data charges from your cell provider.
The Pokemon movies will also be making their way to the app, with the first two becoming available February 15 through 18. Look for Pokemon the Movie: Kyurem vs. The Sword of Justice and Meloetta’s Moonlight Serenade on the app between those dates.
