Two new dungeons have been added as part of the patch — Cold Storage, which offers popular rewards, thus making it a must run dungeon for players who are looking to progress in the game, as well as a much more difficult dungeon, called Sogun’s Lament. Cold Storage can only be completed once a day, unless a Cold Storage Reset is purchased from the Hongmoon store.

A look at what awaits players in Cold Storage, one of two new dungeons in Shattered Empire.

Whirlwind Valley, a new 6v6 PvP mode, was also added. Whirlwind Valley tasks players with capturing and keeping control over several objective regions to gain points. The first team to gain 1800 points, or the team with the most points when the timer runs out, wins. Battle points are then rewarded, which can be used to purchase items from new Battlefield Traders, such as upgrade materials, costumes, and more.

Players can also earn additional experience to propel them further towards endgame, or level up new characters and classes. The following bonuses are active during the event, which lasts until May 11.

  • 50% more XP from NPC enemies/monsters
  • 50% more XP from completing daily quests
  • 100% more Guild Points from crafting and gathering

The bonuses also stack with other XP bonuses, like the bonuses provided to those who sign up for a premium membership.

Full patch notes can be found on the game’s Shattered Empire announcement page.
