League of Legends commemorates Burning Tides with The Reckoning and Dead Man's Plate.

To commemorate League of Legends’ biggest in-game event, Bilgewater: Burning TidesLegends will release Burning Tides: The Reckoning.

Players can now relive all three acts of Burning Tides and some of its most shocking moments, including the “death” of Captain Gangplank. To snag your read-through copy of Burning Tides: The Reckoning, click here.

In addition to this limited-edition version, Legends will be adding Dead Man’s Plate to the armory of weapons to pay homage to the rise and fall of Captain Gangplank. 

For gamers who played with Gangplank for an entire matchmade game during the three-part event, they will receive a complimentary Captain Gangplank skin as promised. The skin is a reflection of Gangplank before the events of Burning Tides and before his downfall. The awarding of this skin may take up to three days.

For those who did not participate in the event or did not play with Gangplank for a full matchmade game, the Captain Gangplank skin will be available for purchase beginning August 12 at 11:00 a.m. The skin can be purchased in-store for 975 RP.

This commemorative edition is a nice keepsake for those who enjoyed the story of Burning Tides. The addition of Dead Man’s Plate is also great for those who want more than just a replay of Burning Tides or have no interest in The Reckoning.
