New Terraria 1.2 Screenshot Posted, Shows New Assets

More new items and assets from Terraria 1.2 shown to the public. Can we have the patch soon?

Terraria 1.2, where are you? You’re not here yet, but we have a new screenshot courtesy of the game’s creative consultant Cenx. That’s better than nothing. I guess.

Cenx posted the screenshot down below on her Terraria Online profile. As seen below, there are multiple new assets and changes in spritework from the current version of the game. A slightly better looking Terraria isn’t all that’s coming in 1.2: Over 1,000 new items are being added into the game, not including updates to those already included.

The patch release is rumored to be coming sometime in either July or August, depending on development progress. The last official update from Redigit himself on YouTube stated he was looking at a July release, but more recent rumors of August have been floating around. It is hard to tell who to believe anymore.

Below is the screenshot Cenx posted as well as an edited version from a perceptive Redditor pointing out the new items found in the shot. Check it out!
