Dates for The Division's beta finally confirmed, here's how to get it

If you're excited for Tom Clancy's: The Division, then your first chance to play it is almost here!

Tom Clancy's: The Division has had its beta release dates confirmed.

If you're playing on the Xbox One, you will get access one day before everyone else on the 28th - 31st of January. PS4 and PC players will have to wait until the next day, as their beta will be running from 29th - 31st of January.

How to get into The Division's beta

To obtain access to the beta, you can pre-order the game for guaranteed entry. Failing that go to the official site and register on the waiting list for a chance to be sent a code.

The Division is an online, open-world RPG set in a devastated New York City. Team up with friends to overcome the crisis, using weapons, skill and tactics to fight against AI-controlled enemies as well as other players. The game supports player level progression, drop in drop out co-op play and is drastically different to anything seen before in the Tom Clancy series.

The latest trailer can be seen here:

The official release date for The Division is 6th March 2016.

I used to be excited for this.

Then I took a graphical downgrade to the knee.

Yeah I feel you man, but then graphics aren't everything right?!

True...but it's becoming a trend with Ubisoft's games that I'm really getting sick of. And this looks like it's going to be way too similar to Destiny to offer much in the gameplay sense.

Completely agree, Watch Dogs was a perfect example. Also the shambles that was AC: Unity at release was absolutely, unacceptably shocking...still I think this game will be fun if you've a bunch of mates to play with.
