The SXSW Game Awards 2016 have nominated The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for Game of the Year!

As if winning Game of the Year at the Game Awards wasn’t enough the critically acclaimed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been nominated to re-win the title at the SXSW Gaming Awards 2016.

It is up against BloodborneFallout 4, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Undertale. Other categories include Tabletop and Mobile Game of the Year, awards for Excellence in Gameplay, Art and Animation as well as awards for Most Valuable Esports Team and Most Entertaining Online Personality.

SXSW will take place, as usual, in Austin, Texas between 11th and 20th March 2016 with the Gaming Awards being held on the 19th in Hilton Austin. The event is completely open to the public and is free so anyone can go and experience the ceremony.
