Check out this newly released video walkthrough and learn some cool new stuff about the newest addition to the Borderlands universe.

For those of us Borderlands fanatics out there, the recently announced release date for the upcoming Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel can not come soon enough. I'm sure you all are clamouring for any new information to be made available. With E3 just days aways I am sure we will be getting a wealth of new information on the newest adventure in the Borderlands universe.

Here is some footage to keep you satisfied for a little while at least. This recently released video is a brief introduction to the newest Borderlands game.

With commentary by two of the producers from Gearbox and 2K Games, the walkthrough gives us a glimpse of two new heroes for us to play as. For the Borderlands enthusiasts these characters are all too familiar. Athena was first introduced in the General Knoxx expansion for Borderlands. She sticks in your memory as the character that piggybacks her communications to you over commercials for the male enhancement product Engorge.

Wilhelm, however, was one of the major bosses that you faced in Borderlands 2. There is a third playable character that you get to see at 14:27 but I don't want to spoil the surprise.

The video also gives us a view of a few new weapon types as well as new elemental attacks for your weapons. No longer taking place on Pandora but on it's moon, we also see that oxygen and low gravity have now come into play. I am not too sure how I feel about having to worry about an O2 meter all the time now, but it does add some interesting strategic elements to the gameplay as you will see.

Well, I hope you find this walkthrough as informative and enjoyable as I did. I, for one, think most of us will be wanting to play as the third character that shows up here. Just call it a hunch. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. Oh, and don't forget to ENGORGE!
