Check Out Hungover Edition of The Bureau: XCOM Declassified

2K Marin gives us a fairly unique ad for The Bureau, where players must navigate their way through a day at the office using The Bureau style choices.

There are a lot of video game advertisements out there. Some show off actual gameplay, or portray various actors having tons of fun with a game.  Some of these are obviously more clever than others, but the ads that come up with slightly different ways of getting their message across tend to be the ones we react positively to.  Like the new ad/game for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.

The game is called Hungover Edition and has the player take the role of Bill Carter, who has arrived at work in the morning with a bad hangover, and must use his ‘squad mates’ abilities to get through the day.  The game itself is simple, with the player choosing how to attempt to bypass each obstacle with live action recorded scenes showing the result.

It is cute, mildly entertaining, and actually does give an intriguing look at possible dialogue or path progression options for the full game–possibly even based on the abilities your squad develops as you progress.

Give it a look and share a chuckle with me.
