Nintendo: Sold Most Software in Japan

Nintendo's sales have sky-rockted in Japan! They've come out on top again.

For the first half of this year, 2013, Nintendo has sold the most software in Japan. It’s no surprise at all. Against it’s competitors, Capcom, Konami, Namco Bandai, and Square Enix, Nintendo has come out on top! Their winning sales go up to 5.19 Million, with Capcom coming in last with only 1.12 Million.

A few of the highest selling games are Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS, 1.37 million) and New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U, 140,00). As expected, Animal Crossing made a huge hit, with all of the new features available while being Mayor. New Super Mario Bros U made a great hit on the Wii U, giving back a bit of nostalgia from the preceding games within the Nintendo franchise. A great new part of the New Super Mario Bros U includes the ability to play with 5 characters, bumping up one from the old amount of 4.

We’ll be able to expect more from Nintendo as they come out with new games and systems. This wont be the last time they come out on top!
