Anonymous Person Donates $500K To Free LoL Player.

Justin Carter was recently released from jail after an anonymous person donated $500,000 dollars to help free him. Although he is free from jail he still has to go through a court hearing in July 16, and if he’s found guilty he could face some serious prison time, since at first, they were planning on sending him to prison for around 8 years.

In Case You Missed It:

Justin Carter was a League of Legends player who has been in jail for the past 5 months due to him making a “terrorist threat” on when someone commented calling him insane, and he sarcastically replied,

Oh yeah, I’m real messed up in the head, I’m going to go shoot up a school full of kids and eat their still, beating hearts,

With the next to lines being ‘lol’ and ‘jk’. I mean, it was obviously violent and horrible, but anyone could easily tell he wasn’t being serious. Somehow, an anonymous Canadian woman found his post and looked up more info about him, like his location, and called the police. Being charged with a “terrorist threat”, he was arrested a month later and has been in prison ever since.

My thoughts on this…

I think that the police are wasting their time since they’ve already searched his house and found out he didn’t have any weapons or just anything that would tie in to the case. I also think they’re being a bit too serious, and although I know that they should be serious because of the stuff that has been happening lately, they should at least conduct a mental health test or something. I’d also like to know what a Canadian woman was doing looking at his posts on Facebook.
