April Fool’s Fun: Sony’s Revolutionary “Power Food”

Plug and play with your favorite foods! Hey, you never know what could happen in the future...

It’s one of my favorite April Fool’s jokes so far.

The Fictional Story:

The wizards at Sony’s food labs have created a way to energize both you and your electronic devices. By creating what they call the “Voltaic Enzyme,” they’ve managed to produce a line of food products that caters to the tech-savvy individual on the go.

Battery dying? Stop off at a hotdog stand and charge up. Don’t have an outlet nearby when having breakfast? No worries, because that power cereal will serve as a proper power source. For the active outdoorsy type, grab a special Sony Power Bar, which can keep you – and the little camera strapped to your bike – on the move.

This is NOT a bad idea

Pretty sure it can’t happen but really, it’s a cool idea. I’d have a little trouble ingesting anything that supposedly powers an electronic device but hey, we could all use a little jolt in the morning, right? 😉

There are so many ridiculously stupid April Fool’s gags online, but somebody obviously put a lot of time and thought into this one. The lines between humanity and technology will likely become increasingly blurred over time, so this might actually prove prophetic…
