LoL ARAM Guide: Singed

A basic Singed guide for ARAM

I’ve played a lot of ARAM lately, and decided I would write a few ARAM guides for the champions I enjoy playing. The first champion I want to cover is Singed; he is really fun when played right.

Summoner Spell Recommendation:
  1. Clarity: restores 40% of Mana to you and nearby allies.
  2. Barrier: Shields champion for 115-455 damage for 2 seconds, depending on champion level.
Abilities:
  • Passive- Empowered Bulwark: grants an extra health for every 100 mana singed has.
  • Q- Poison Trail: Cost 13 mana per second at all levels. Leaves a trail of poison behind Singed damaging anyone caught in it.
  • W- Mega Adhesive: Costs 70/80/90/100/110 mana based on ability level. Throws adhesive on the ground slowing enemies who walk on it.
  • E- Fling: Costs 100/110/120/130/140 mana based on ability level. Throws target enemy behind Singed damaging them in the process. (Good for splitting a target from the rest of its team.)
  • R (Ultimate)- Insanity Potion: Costs 150 mana at all levels. Singed drinks chemicals to increase his combat stats for a set duration.

Play Style:

Until level six, Singed is a bit squishy. When you play singed you want to build him tanky with AP damage. Building +mana items early before level 6 is good since Singed gains extra health based on his mana.

To start the game, you’ll want to put a point in all three abilities. Only use Poison Trail when near enemies, as it’s a waste on minions without your Ultimate. Your Poison Trail uses a lot of mana while active, so you’ll want Clarity for early game.

You’ll want to be right up there in the front lines as Singed, so build armor or magic resist as enemy team comp requires. If you build the wrong one, you’ll be useless in team fights. If you’re not sure whether the enemies focus Ability Power or Attack Damage, ask your team.

Singed doesn’t have a real initiate ability, but he has an anti-retreat skill. Use Mega Adhesive behind enemies while in team fights to prevent them from running. Fling will also put a target enemy that’s in front of you behind you, so that’s good for focusing down a big enemy threat.

Basically as Singed you’ll want to stay out front. Take those ranged hits for your heavy damage allies if it will save their lives. If you die, you can just buy more tank items while leaving your damage dealers out to poke at the enemy.

Be on the lookout for my future ARAM guides including: Nidalee, Janna, Ahri, Galio, and Nunu. I hope you liked this guide and found it useful.
