In a recent interview, studio founder Ru Weerasuriya shared some details regarding the game and their new developmental focus. With their latest title, the studio will be moving on from their nearly PlayStation-only exclusive business model. De-formers will be co-published with GameTrust, an indie game publisher owned by GameStop.

The game will be geared towards a more casual experience. It will support local multiplayer, where people can play side by side (as well as online). Matches will be as brief as 2 to 3 minutes. He also seems to imply that they may release the title as digital only.

Ready at Dawn was established in 2003 by members of Naughty Dog and Blizzard Entertainment. Since its inception, they’ve gone on to develop well received PlayStation Portable titles such as God of War: Chains of Olympus and Daxter. More recently, they developed 2015’s The Order: 1886 for the PlayStation 4 .

Currently has no release date has been provided, but MOBA fans can look forward to a vibrant new title soon.
