It doesn’t matter if you’re excited or skeptical about the Wii U and Mario Kart 8. Nintendo wants to get the word out that the newest addition of the Mario Kart series is coming soon.
In collaboration with GameStop, Nintendo has set two days, May 17th and 18th, for players to test drive Mario Kart 8 at over 2700 GameStop locations.
A press release from Nintendo of America announced that fans will be able to visit their local GameStop on the 17th and 18th, between 12pm and 4pm, to demo the game. Also, anyone who pre-orders before May 30th or has an existing pre-order for Mario Kart 8 will receive an exclusive double-sided poster.
You can check the official site to see which GameStop stores in your area will be hosting the test drive event.
There is also a social media campaign happening at mariokartmemories.com. Go on twitter and hashtag #MarioKartMemories and #promo with your favorite memory of any game in the series and you will be entered for a chance to win a Mario Kart 8 Wii U Deluxe Set and a $100 GameStop gift card.
