Allegiance is a fantasy-themed, fully self-contained tabletop game of combat for two to four players. Check us out on Kickstarter now!

Underground Games is excited to announce that the Kickstarter campaign for its strategy tabletop game Allegiance: A Realm Divided is live as of March 26, 2014.

Allegiance combines the combat-based approach of popular collectible card games with the character customization of role-playing games to create a uniquely immersive experience. Fully self-contained, but designed specifically with replayability in mind, Allegiance has a great depth of gameplay without any repeat investment required. Rich in detail and beautifully depicted by a variety of leading fantasy artists in the industry, Allegiance is an immersive experience for fantasy fans and strategy gamers alike.

The Allegiance Kickstarter campaign offers the base game at a discount price of $55 CAD (MSRP $60 CAD) and includes free shipping to individuals in North America and Western European Union countries. Funds raised through Kickstarter will primarily go towards art commissions, manufacturing and distribution costs.

About the game

Allegiance is a fantasy-themed, fully self-contained game of combat for two to four players. Featuring a unique board-game/card-game hybrid style, the game is deeply strategic and usually takes between 30 and 60 minutes to play.

In Allegiance, players each assume the role of one of 10 powerful heroes and engage each other in combat. Each hero represents a different fantasy character class, and plays according to that character's style, strengths, and weaknesses. Players can customize and level-up their hero by unlocking and utilizing the hero's unique abilities, enlisting allied units to fight on their behalf, and playing tricky action cards to defeat their enemies.

Allegiance features a variety of art from talented fantasy artists such as Michael Komarck, Daarken, Igor Kieryluk, and more.
