Bossa Studios has revealed, via the PlayStation Blog, that I Am Bread will be releasing on PlayStation 4 on August 25th.

I Am Bread is essentially a bread simulator, where you have to move around as a piece of bread and get into a toaster. This level of absurdity is in Bossa Studios’ genes, as you may remember another game of theirs by the name of Surgeon Simulator.

The game already released on PC a while back, with iOS and PlayStation 4 support announced for later. Now PlayStation gamers need wait no longer to fulfill their deepest darkest bread fantasies.

The game has already been out for a little while, so the real question is whether I Am Bread will garner significant interest for console players. The price will certainly play a significant role, and I think that $9.99 would be a good spot for the game to land.

Will you be playing I Am Bread on PS4? Let me know in the comments!
