Titanfall: The Next-Gen Megahit

This post is about Titanfall and how awesome it's going to be because the creators are amazing and stuff. Just play it or watch some stuff about it and you'll see what I mean.

Editor’s Note: This is a review on the game based on opinion and on information that has been released. Definitely have not played it.

The What

Titanfall is described as a “fast-paced, futuristic warfare” type of shooter. Being presented to us at E3 2013 by the Respawn Entertainment team which also shows plenty of potential for this game to become an instant success. This game involves a variety of ways to, well in simple terms, shoot the crap out of somebody. Such fluid gameplay allows you to shoot the enemy on foot then jump in a huge “titan” and gun down more of them or you could just jump onto an enemy titan and completely demolish it. So far, this game looks like a multiplayer-only type of game which isn’t too much of a hassle to anyone nowadays (especially on Xbox One since it has to be connected at some point).

Respawn Entertainment

Respawn Entertainment is an independent gaming company founded by Vince Zampella and Jason West. If these names don’t sound familiar then I don’t know what to say to you. These guys were the co-founders of Infinity Ward! and the creators of Call of Duty, which of course is one of most well-known games (even non-gamers like old people and such). This just adds the publicity, anticipation, and that needy feeling to get your hands on this game (They just have that effect on people I guess).

My Personal Opinions (Closing Thoughts as Well)

To wrap things up here, I think Titanfall is going to be an amazing shooter. Seeing how it is locked in on Xbox One for its first year, Playstation gamers will not be seeing much of it. Not yet anyway. This game is (if not the most) one of the most anticipated games of the next generation of gaming but will also be released on Xbox 360 and PC, as well. With the two creators of the multi-BILLION dollar franchise (Call of duty) behind this game, there’s almost no doubt that this will be the next big thing we will come to know. Closing note: EA also published this game (wasn’t mentioned before).
