Good News: The New Patch

Late last week a patch went out to the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto V that will able you to connect to the servers and play online. There have been reports that players are now able to get online and play a bit, which is a relief to many fans of GTA. The main problem with GTA V has been the online gaming, which is now improved for better gameplay.

Bad News: Bye Bye Items

Although Rockstar has done a great job in repairing the connection ability, they have confirmed that some users are still losing the online items, and that characters are vanishing from their inventories. Rockstar has put out a statement explaining the situation.

“We are continuing to investigate the causes of the lost progress and what can be done to minimize the impact until a permanent fix is in place,”

“Also, we have not forgotten about the requests for restoration. We are in the process of determining the options for addressing the issues for those players who have been affected.”

If you thought that wasn’t enough, you might wanna put that controller down if you see the warning “Rockstar Cloud Services are Unavailable”. Although you might get to play, all the multiplayer progress in the session won’t be saved. I’d advise you to put it down for a bit and go play a different game. Give Rockstar some time, they’ll figure out the bugs.
