One of the best games of all time is finally coming to current gen.

Earlier this year, Capcom announced that Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 were coming to current gen consoles this year, with 1080p visuals and running at 60fps. Resident Evil 6 was first released on March 29th of this year, Resident Evil 5 was released digitally June 28th and physically on July 12th, and now Resident Evil 4 will be released next month.

Announced on a blog post on Capcom Unity, it was revealed the title would be released on August 30th and will contain all the extras that past versions included, like the Assignment Ada Wong chapters and the unlockable weapons and costumes found in the PS2 version of the game.

Since its original release, Resident Evil 4 has been called one of the greatest games of all time, receiving widespread praise and making an impact on future 3rd person action games. It has since been ported to PS2, PS3, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and PC.
