5 Cool and Easy to Obtain Mounts in World of Warcraft

In this article, we take a look at five easy and cool mounts to obtain in World of Warcraft.

There are over hundreds of mounts in Blizzard’s World of Warcraft. There are varying degrees of difficulty in obtaining these mounts, that are usually gained by clearing dungeons, reaching a certain level of reputation, or simply forking over gold to purchase it. In this article, we’re going to talk about five cool and easy mounts to obtain in the game today — or perhaps more accurately, before Legion comes out this August.

1. Amani Battle Bear

This mount used to be a bit of a challenge, as the dungeon Zul’aman needed to be completed in a certain amount of time in order for the bear to drop in Kasha’s Bag. However, as of today the mount is easily gained solo if you are a high enough level to take down the mobs. Who wouldn’t want to ride a giant bear bred for war?

2. Twilight Drake

This cool variant of the drake dragons can be obtained by defeating Sartharion in The Obsidian Sanctum in 25 man mode. If you’re level 100, you should be able to solo this, but make sure that when you bring down Sartharion that the other three mini-boss drakes are still up. If they aren’t, the drop chance for the Twilight Drake decreases dramatically.

3. Bloodhoof Bull

Although this mount requires killing a rare spawn found in Nagrand, Nakk the Thunderer, if you are successful in taking the mob down, the Bloodhoof Bull mount has a 100% drop rate for everyone who takes him down with you. If you have some patience, tracking down Nakk or waiting at the areas he’s known to spawn at, will yield you the awesome bulky riding mount.

4. Cloud Serpents

Obtaining flying serpents reminiscent of ancient Chinese dragons is a simple matter of completing a short level 90 quest called Riding the Skies — found in The Jade Forest once you are Exalted with the Order of the Cloud Serpent. Upon completion of the quest, players may choose from the Golden, Jade, or Azure Cloud Serpents. These flying mounts look magnificent, and put off a very spiritual vibe.

5. Disc of the Red Flying Cloud

This awesome mount that reminds one of Goku’s flying cloud, can be gained by farming Lorewalkers reputation. Once you reach the exalted level with the Faction, you can simply purchase this flying mount for 600 gold. That is a price well worth this anime inspired disc.

These are some of the coolest mounts you can obtain if you have a some patience and commitment to completing the necessary requirements, or taking down some mobs. If you’re willing to go the distance for these mounts, they will most certainly take you the distances you need.
