New Splatoon amiibo dioramas looking fresh!

Splatoon amiibo dioramas have been announced for Japan, including an interactive Squid Sisters concert for your 3DS/Smartphone screens!

Amiibo collectors, get ready: more dioramas for your figures have been announced! The ink-shooter Splatoon will be receiving not one, but TWO sets based on the Kelp Dome battlefield and a Squid Sisters concert.

While both sets include decorative stickers, the Squid Sisters diorama features electronic interactivity, as they connect to your 3DS or smartphone for displaying a concert courtesy of Callie and Marie themselves. Any Splatoon player, kid or squid, can catch up on all their fresh hits.

Both dioramas will launch in Japan on July 7th for 1,080 yen ($10 US dollars), but no word has emerged on their Western arrival (or, for that matter, the Smash Bros. and Kirby dioramas released last month). We’ll keep our eyes peeled for that, but in the meantime, you can preorder imports on Play-Asia.

Would you purchase the Splatoon amiibo dioramas should they launch in the states? Let us know in the comments below!
