Here is how to enter the Doom closed beta

GameStop is offering a Doom closed beta code with every pre-order of Doom. The beta will run through Sunday, April 3rd.

Want to play Doom but didn’t end up buying Wolfenstein: The New Order? Don’t fret; your local GameStop may have you covered. In a surprise move from Bethesda, it has been announced that after 6PM April 1 you will be able to go to the store and be given a beta code. All you have to do is pre-order the game (throw $5 down) and you will get to test the game for the weekend. This is apparently NOT an April fools joke and the codes should go quickly. It is believed that there are limited quantities of the codes so be sure to act quickly if you want in on the hellish action.

While it does say that GameStop will be giving away codes, it would still be wise to call ahead to make sure they are giving away codes at the store closest to you. Again, this is not believed to be an April fools joke and if it is, then it may be the cruelest joke of all. DON’T DO THIS TO US BETHESDA, BLIZZARD IS DOING ENOUGH AND WE CAN’T TAKE IT ANY LONGER!

The Doom beta will run through Sunday, April 3rd and is already underway. Doom will release on May 13th, 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
