Steam sale for Borderlands and Dead Rising franchises ends today

The latest Steam Weekend deal includes the fan favorite Borderlands franchise, the Dead rising franchise, as well as Offworld Trading company and F1 2015.

This week’s Steam weekend deal features two well known franchises; Dead Rising and Borderlands. The best part of the package is its ability to take the games you already have in your steam library out of the bundles, thus decreasing the price and ensuring you don’t buy duplicates. So if you’ve been waiting for the right chance to buy the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Season Pass or the Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse Edition, now’s your chance.

The Borderlands Triple Pack, containing Borderlands, Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel — as well as an assortment of Borderlands DLCs — comes to $19.80 (£13.41) at 45% off. If you already own the first 2 Borderlands games, you could go for the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Season Pass bundle for $20.99(£16.49).

As for the Dead Rising franchise, you could get Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse Edition, Dead Rising 2, and an assortment of Dead Rising 2 DLCs and bonus packs for just $26.99 (£20.99) at 70% off. Or, if you’re just missing the Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse Edition, you can get it at $14.99(£11.99) also 70% off.

If you’re looking for an entirely different experience, you should check out Offworld Trading Company — yet another game that is available on sale for $19.99 (£14.99), at half price. Offworld is still in early access, and is definitely an interesting game to look into. It is a very unique RTS, based entirely on trade on Mars. With a variety of resources to trade, produce to, and ever-changing prices that are affected by those same factors, the game produces an experience unlike any other. Check out their Steam page, for more information.

Finally, if you’re a racing fan, you could purchase the F1 bundle, which includes F1 2010, F1 2011, F1 2012, F1 RACE STARS, F1 2014 and F1 2015 for $40.07(£28.47) at 67% off. Or, simply buy the latest edition for $21.99 (£15.99) at 60% off. You can also play F1 2015 for free throughout the sale, and buy it only if you like it!
