It has been over two years since the last season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead first began. Since then fans have been eagerly waiting to see how Clementine’s journey continues. The time has finally come and the first teaser of Season 3 is here.
The video is short — it’s a teaser — but it offers a lot for fans to take in. Clementine is older now, she is in her early teens (maybe 14 or 15). She is walking with a new character named Javier. He will also be a playable character in Season 3. The two are walking down an alley and there is a zombie at the end eating a person. Clem shoots the zombie right in the head and Javier says “That one was marked too”. At around 25 seconds you can see a mark on the zombies back. It kind of looks like the number 70 with a circle around it. Javier has the same mark on his neck as well. Could Javier and the zombie be from the same settlement?
One other thing to note is that Clementine is missing a finger on her left hand. It can be seen when she reloads the gun. Hopefully, we will get to see how she lost it. Who knows, maybe we’ll even get to cut it off for some reason during the game.
Get your box of tissues ready now because I’m sure this season will bring the feels just like the last two have. Overall the teaser is great, and helps to build the excitement for the new season. Season 3 of Telltale’s The Walking Dead will be out this fall.
