ESRB may have answered those questions after publishing the game’s rating. According to them, the campaign is exactly what you would expect from a war game. There are a lot of killing, f-bombs, cries of pain, shooting, stabbing, explosions, and splashes of blood.

Based on ESRB’s review, players will be taken throughout all the major battlefields from WWI and will take control of a variety of characters. These playable characters include a fighter pilot, an armor crewman, a rebel fighter, and a “message-runner.” ESRB didn’t reveal any further details on the characters or the settings, but they stated that all characters will engage in bloody combat.

Battlefield 1 is confirmed to be released on October 21, 2016, which is only a few weeks away. Thanks to the elaborate rating from ESRB, players can look forward to a gruesome shooter that, but will it live up to the hype?
