Price Guide For Selling Vehicles in GTAO: GTA V Car Guide

How much can I sell this car for? Let's find out.

A few days ago, I posted an article with some different ways to earn some quick, easy money in Grand Theft Auto Online.  A friend suggested that I write an article about what the different cars will sell for, and I thought it was a great idea.  If you are going to take the time to steal cars to make money, then you will want to know which cars draw the highest prices.

First things first, in Grand Theft Auto Online all of the “premium” cars have Trackers installed in them.  Trackers make it impossible to store that vehicle in your Garage and Los Santos Customs will not do anything to modify that car.  Which means that the door will not open at Los Santos Customs and it will be impossible to sell them that car.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Los Santos Customs will only buy one car from you in a single in-game day.  So, this method of making money can only be done every 48 minutes of actual time. This means picking the right car to sell is important!

An important factor in selling cars to Los Santos Customs is that any damage done to a vehicle will be deducted from the selling price!

The Pegassi Infernus is just one of the “premium” cars of GTA Online.

Low-End Vehicles

I call this section “low-end” because the vehicles in this section will not earn you much money when you go to sell them.  The monetary value of these vehicles ranges anywhere from $0 to around $3,500, and these vehicles are not really worth the time needed to sell them.  Funnily enough, some of the cars are worth more money to own than they are to sell.

Two cars that will not net you much profit when sold to LSC…

but are sweet additions to your personal Garage!

In my Vehicle Selection Guide, I suggest both the Declasse Sabre Turbo and the Bravado Gauntlet because they are both useful cars for doing Missions, etc.  However, neither of these cars sells for THAT much money.

The Declasse Sabre Turbo only sells for $1,500 and the Bravado Gauntlet will only net you $3,200!  If you happen to steal either of these cars, do yourself a favor and make it your personal Vehicle.  The cars both have good top speeds and can take some serious punishment before they are destroyed.

Some other cars that are not worth selling to Los Santos Customs would be the Albany Manana, the Imponte Ruiner and the Bollokan Prairie.  All of these cars sell for less than $3,000 so selling them will not net you much of a profit.

The Bollokan Prairie only sells for $2,500…there are bigger fish to go after.

Mid-Range Vehicles

I label the “mid-range” vehicles as anything that sells for between $3,500 to around $6,000.  These are the vehicles that I will go after if I am not too far away from the nearest Los Santos Customs.  With the idea that I will not spend too much time driving to the shop and that I can make some decent money quickly.

One vehicle that just makes it into this category is the Vapid Dominator.  The Dominator is a muscle car that ranks up there with the Sabre Turbo and Gauntlet in terms of performance, but can net you more money when you head to Los Santos Customs.

Another popular car that falls into this category would be the Bravado Buffalo, and luckily these are fairly common NPC cars in some areas.  The Buffalo is pretty similar in performance to the Dominator and sells for the same price, so they make good personal Vehicles and sell for a decent enough price.

To hit the top of this category, you could look for several cars in Los Santos.  The Ubermacht Sentinel is one of the cars that will sell for $6,000 in mint condition, and is worth the time to sell if you see one.  The Sentinel is a good-looking car and it handles well too, so it could worth selling or keeping for yourself if you need another car.

Not my favorite car in GTA universe but the Sentinel does looks good.

High-End Vehicles

And here we reach the vehicles that you should definitely consider selling to Los Santos Customs if you find one.  These cars will sell from over $6,000 to $9,500 and make for a sweet return-on-investment.

Again, I will start with a car that sells on the bottom of the spectrum and that is the Ubermacht Zion.  The Zion is basically a BMW 650i and will sell for approximately $6,500 if in perfect condition.  The downside to the Zion is that it is not quite as fast as some of the cars listed previously in the article.

The Ubermact Zion and Zion Cabrio (convertible).

Continuing along the line of Ubermacht vehicles, we have the Ubermacht Oracle and this four-door sedan sells for $8,000.  The Oracle is one of the biggest cars in Grand Theft Auto Online and is good for carrying up to four people.  Personally, I do not own one because it is a little sluggish but that does not stop me from stealing one for profit!

Finally, the cars that will net you the most money are the Lampadati Felon and Felon GT.  The Felon is a four-door sedan while the Felon GT is a two-door coupe, and I actually own the four-door version of the car.  Both have good performance and I prefer them over the Ubermacht Oracle.

The Felon will net you $9,000 when you sell one at Los Santos Customs while the Felon GT will earn you $9,500.  Both of these cars are worth the time needed to sell them so try to sell one every day if possible  The $9,000-9,500 will start to rack up pretty quick!

Hopefully, this little guide will help you earn more money as you travel the streets of Los Santos.  That being said, you should feel encouraged to experiment with the various vehicles of Grand Theft Auto Online.  Just because a car does not sell for much does not mean the car is not worth something.  It could become your new favorite car.
