Japanese Ladies React to Silent Hills Playable Trailer

Konami builds the hype for upcoming Silent Hills game with this hilarious video.

Konami is taking a page from EA’s book when it comes to marketing the upcoming Silent Hills game in this fun marketing campaign. While in the trailer itself we see very little of the game itself, the reactions from some of the women shows it all.

This might not be as engaging as “Your Mom Hates Dead Space 2 campaign,  which had a wider variety of mothers reacting to a wider variety of things, but it was still nice to see nice footage of the playable trailer in between shots of the reactors’ faces.

The playable trailer appears to involve exploring a house. With a little musical manipulation, it manages to scare the daylights out of most of the women in the video. With the exception of one – who must have nerves of steel. There’s no way for us to know for sure if these reactions are genuine, but it was a humorous video to watch, and a good way to hype up the new Silent Hills game.
