Twitch streamer solos Crota’s End on hardest difficulty using just Rock Band Drums

Twitch streamer GladHeAteHer182 uses just a Rock Band drum kit to beat Crota's End solo.

There’s a difference proving your skills by beating a difficult challenge, and just flat-out showing off. A Twitch streamer named GladHeAteHer182 has posted a video to YouTube of him completing the Destiny raid Crota’s End on the hardest difficulty. So far, so normal, right?

Except when viewers look in the corner, they’ll see that he’s playing with a Rock Band drum kit in lieu of a normal console controller. (See above for the entire run, which he finishes in just under eight minutes).

While GladHeAteHer182 does use the kit’s directional pad to move around, actions like jumping, attacking, reloading or switching guns are each assigned to a drum. It’s an impressive setup, one that probably took a good while to get acclimated to. It also brings a whole new meaning to the term “mashing buttons”.

If you’re not quite this good yet and need tips on beating Destiny’s Crota’s End on the higher difficulties (with Rock Band drum kit or without), our resident guide guru Synzer’s got you covered.
