Rumor: Tekken 7 may also see releases on Xbox One and PC.

The Tekken series began in 1994 and since then the franchise has seen 10 releases. In the course of 20 years, the series’ features has allowed it to establish itself among fans and critics. The games allow fighters to move in 360 degrees. Most fighting titles feature attacks are weak, medium, and strong. Tekken’s attack buttons however allow a player to control a fighter’s four limbs. Later entries have also allowed players to make use of walls and stage positioning for attacking.

Tekken 7 was released for arcades in Japan initially in 2015. An improved version, Tekken: 7 Fated Retribution, will be released this Summer for Japanese arcades. Bandai Namco announced that Fated Retribution will be releasing for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR as well.

Considering the franchise’s popularity worldwide, releases among other platforms is understandable. The rumor also seems more likely considering months ago, Avoiding the Puddle, spoke with Bandai Namco game designer, Michael Murray. –The conversation seemed to imply that the title may not necessarily be an exclusive for the Sony console.

Fighting game fans can look forward to Tekken 7: Fated Retribution soon.
