Xbox One won't need Kinect plugged in to function

Xbox One doesn't need Kinect connected to work.

When E3 ended, many gamers seemed displeased at Microsoft with their Xbox One policies like having to connect with the internet at least once every 24 hours, not being able to play used games, and the fact that you needed to have the Kinect connected in order for the Xbox One to be able to function. Then in June 19, Don Mattrick posted an update stating some changes they've made. What people called "Xbox's 180"

Good News Everyone!

Now once again, Microsoft made a change that should make some people happy: You no longer need to have the Kinect connected to the Xbox in order for it to function... sadly this still doesn't mean Xbox is making any plans on a non-bundled, Kinect-less Xbox One.

"That said, like online, the console will still function if Kinect isn’t plugged in, although you won’t be able to use any feature or experience that explicitly uses the sensor,"

Xbox One's Kinect, and it's controversy before this change:

Some of you may be wondering why people cared about it, and the reason is: these days people are more paranoid of the government, due to some leaked information on the NSA being able to access your chats, and well.. mostly everything that you thought would be private. Which I didn't mind since I've always been paranoid.

~With all that said, do you think that there will be more people planning on buying the Xbox One after these news gets more publicity?
