I Am Setsuna is Almost, Pretty Much, Sort Of a New Chrono Trigger

It's been a very long time since a JRPG got my attention but Square Enix's upcoming release looks to be enough like Chrono Trigger that I can't wait for it!

If the world was fair and just then Square Enix would have continued making Chrono Trigger games since before they added the Enix to their name. For some reason though, they haven’t been. However, Square Enix is putting out I Am Setsuna on the PS4 and Steam platforms next month on July 19th. What’s exciting about this, and Square Enix is happy to point this out in the above new trailer, is how similar the battle system is to classic Chrono Trigger. The game also looks to be sporting quality throwback material to JRPGs of yore. The music even brings back some Chrono Trigger-esque tingles too!
