An Interview With a Boyfriend About Dust: An Elysian Tail

A nice interview about a favorite game, Dust: An Elysian Tail.

Today, I conducted an interview with my beloved boyfriend and hard-core gamer, Jesse. He has many favorite games but Dust: An Elysian Tail is his favorite for many reasons.

So, Jesse, what is your favorite video game and why?

"My favorite game is Dust: An Elysian Tail. The reason why it's my favorite is because of the story and the fluid combat."

What's so great about the combat and the story?

"The story is well made and it has moments where you question what's going on. The characters fit the story very well and the combat is very responsively fluid and fun. You can get much enjoyment trying to get those 1000 hit combos or higher."

What would be your favorite character within Dust: An Elysian Tail, and why?

"The character, Fidget, would have to be my favorite. She is a little flying companion that you have with you at all times. Not only is she adorable, but she has the best jokes, or at least I think so. Fidget likes to do some things outside of the game; saying things like "Button Smash!" in the game to contradict what the tutorials say."

Are there any improvements you believe the game should have?

"Not really, I find the game to be perfect on its own."

Do you think this game could support multi-player or co-op?

"No, I don't think it could support any mode other than single-player. It would be difficult to make it multiplayer if they tried, since the game is perfect as it is now."

Are there any other great aspects to the game other than the story and combat?

"The artwork and music are also very well made, making the entire game enjoyable. Not only is it fun to play, but it has great features and details."

Do you think that there is a possibility to make a sequel to the game?

"There is definitely a possibility for a sequel to the game. I think they've barely touched the surface with the game, and they could offer a lot more stories in a sequel."

Would the game be better on any other platforms other than the PC and Xbox 360?

"Yes, I would like to see it be playable through Sony and Nintendo 3DS. I think the features of having it in 3D would make the combat and the magic features within the game come alive. Not to mention, having it on a portable device would give more opportunities to play it."

Have you found any other game to compare to the quality in Dust: An Elysian Tail?

"I haven't found any game to compare to Dust. It's just very unique in story details."

Would you recommend this game to anyone, and any specific age group?

"I would recommend the game to everyone who enjoys great stories and good combat. I think all age groups that can comprehend what's going would be perfect to play it."

Well, there you have it, folks. Dust: An Elysian Tail is available on Steam and Xbox Live. It's considered a type of arcade game that is made for the whole family to enjoy.
