It appears as if an announcement confirming BioShock The Collection could be imminent judging from the 2K website.

he graphic and cover art were pulled very quickly from the site, but the fact that they were up in the first place seems like a good indication that something is coming. BioShock: The Collection was rated earlier in June and has been a rumor for quite some time now, but that rumor is looking more and more like a confirmation.

All there is to do now is wait for an official announcement from 2K. An official BioShock Twitter account popped up today, so something could be imminent. Fans of the game have long been clamoring for a remaster, and it seems as if their wishes will be granted.

No release date has been given, but once an announcement is made, expect things to move quickly. If the cover art is already completed then it seems they are ready to launch the game — but take that with a grain of salt. Either way, BioShock The Collection is moving closer and closer to becoming a thing.
