Initially announced on May 3rd, Wargaming’s “Tank Hunter” update is now live and available on PlayStation 4. As of May 10th, players can now get a leg up on heavily armored tanks and vehicles with this update for World of Tanks. This patch contains 23 powerful Tank Destroyers which will change the way players play the game and enhance the overall player experience.
The Tank Hunter Update will boost the British, German, Soviet and US tank lines with some of the most well-known and powerful tanks in the game. Tank destroyers are specialized armored fighting vehicles designed specifically for destroying heavily armored tanks. They even come with state of the art camouflage abilities, making them a deadly force to be reckoned with. The main downfall with the Tank Destroyers, however, is that they lack superior armor and mobility — but they make up for it with devastating offensive assaults. Some of the tank destroyers making their way to the World of Tanks include the speedy and powerful, but lightly armored M18 Hellcat, the Waffenträger auf Pz. IV and the Object 263.
