Rayman Legends Launch Trailer Had Me Hooked

What I love about the Rayman Legends launch trailer.

This trailer is simply amazing. As much as I don’t like to give into advertisement, Ubisoft’s launch trailer for Rayman Legends had me sold. Normally I like to demo my games or watch a few YouTube videos of gameplay footage, before buying them. But this time around I was genuinely excited.

So what was it about this trailer that had me hooked? The music is catchy, the visuals are stunning, and the gameplay looks fantastic. This trailer shows Rayman fans how great the newest installment is. One of my favorite parts was the constant pop ups of review scores and quotes. It inspired me to go look up those reviews and see why each publisher gave out such high ratings.

All the necessary ingredients for a great trailer were included as well. From iconic scenes, to the multiplayer action, the challenges, boss battles, and a variety of stages shown in the trailer, Ubisoft definitely gets an A+.

I’ve come to love the Ubi Art Framework ever since playing Rayman Legends. I got to see the Framework in action at PAX Prime and GDC 2014, and every time I was impressed. You can even tell that the trailer itself was made within the engine. I can’t see the beauty of Child of Light and Valiant Hearts as well.

Rayman Legends launched on September 3rd, 2013, and I still play it on a regular basis!
