Rocket League Coming to PS4 in 2015

Rocket League, a sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, will be flipping it's way onto PS4 in 2015.

Rocket League, a sequel to the intensely yet aptly named Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, will be coming to PS4 in 2015.

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars was released in 2008, featured a hybrid of stunt driving and soccer-based gameplay, and -while met with a moderate level of success- has grown a substantial following of loyal fans since it's initial launch.

After 10 million downloads and six years of feedback, developer Psyonix is planning to launch a sequel that features improved physics, faster gameplay, next-gen visuals, 2-4 player local multiplayer, new gameplay modes, a full-featured replay system and more. The announcement on the PlayStation Blog hints that more surprises are on their way out before the game's release date is officially announced.

If you just so happen to be one of the lucky few that will be attending the PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas, you'll be able to play the game in four-player split-screen at the Psyonix booth this weekend, December 6th and 7th. Those playing the game at the show will have their shot at winning these exclusive Rocket League shirts as well. Expect to hear more about the game after it's gameplay début this weekend.
