Borderlands 1 and 2 Hits Humble, Time to Try it Out

Get your Steam ready, Humble adds Borderlands and Borderlands 2 to the weekly bundle, with quite the bundle of DLCs.

Well you’ve heard it folks, Borderlands and Borderlands 2 has hit the weekly Humble Bundle, and that means it’s time for me to pick it up and try it out. Having not been a fan of first-person-shooter games, I never thought to give Borderlands a look, but for the low price of $5.52, I just can’t say no.

What a Jaw-Dropping Deal

Humble you did it again. During this week’s Humble Borderlands Bundleroughly $146 dollars worth of Borderlands games and DLCs are available, along with a whopping 75% off coupon for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel through the Humble store. All Borderlands fans will enjoy that price reduction from the large amount of $60 for the game, down to $15.

Give Me the DLCs!

Along with the base game of Borderlands and Borderlands 2, the DLCs available for the “Pay more than the average” option include: Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, Psycho Pack, Mechromancer Pack, and Creater Slaughterdome. That’s not all they’re offering either, Humble will be adding more to that payment option next Tuesday at 11:00 AM Pacific time.

Pay More Get More

The last payment jump on this Humble includes tripling the amount to $15 to gain Steam-Keys for: Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2, Headhunter 5: Son of Crawmerax, Borderlands 2 Season Pass, and a 2K Store 25% off merchandise coupon. If you’re a diehard Borderlands fan, picking up this bundle might be the best thing you could do. Gift the keys, save the coupons, you still make good on this deal. Either way, you’re supporting a charity and enhancing someone’s Steam library.

Keep your eyes open for my upcoming review on Borderlands 2, where I’ll be having an open mind, in hopes of seeing how amazing this game can be. It’s time to branch into first-person-shooter-games and see what greatness awaits.
