Goat Simulator Goes Mobile

Goat Simulator is now available on mobile devices, and still has gamers controlling a goat with purposely buggy motion behaviors.

Swedish game developer Coffee Stain Studios’ 2014 Dragon Slayer nominee title for Best New Indie Game is now playable on mobile devices.

Goat Simulator has been released before it’s original Sept. 18 launch date for mobile devices, and still has gamers controlling a goat with purposely buggy motion behaviors.

“And you guys thought we’d never get it to run on mobile,” Coffee Stain Studios’ Goat Simulator mobile press release says.

The open world adventure game earned a “mixed or average” score of 62 on review aggregator website Metacritic, but still created a popular following after Let’s Play videos featuring Goat Simulator generated millions of hits across various YouTube channels.

Gameplay on Android or Apple devices will parallel the PC version. Gamers will control an indestructible goat causing mayhem in a costal town, with players being rewarded for doing tricks or other interactions with the environment.

Goat Simulator mobile is available for $4.99 on the Apple App Store or Google Play for Android. An Xbox version of the game has been anounced but does not yet have a release date.
