Hideo Kojima has officially left Konami to start his own studio

Kojima has officially left Konami.

The nightmare is finally over. Hideo Kojima is no longer with the internment camp of a company known as Konami. The legendary game designer has parted ways with the company and will be starting his own studio, alongside other former Konami staff. Kojima is also currently in talks with Sony to debut his first game on PlayStation platforms.

These past couple of months have launched Konami in a downward spiral as being considered one of the worst gaming companies in the industry. From the treatment of their employees to the just recently barring Hideo Kojima from receiving an award for his work on Metal Gear Solid V.

From here on, we should anticipate some exciting news from Kojima. With Metal Gear under the clutches of Konami, Kojima is more than likely working on a brand new IP. This is merely speculation, but a safe and happy speculation none the less.
