Introduction

In Heroes of the Storm, E.T.C. is a melee warrior with a kit that lets him play as both support and a damage dealer.

E.T.C. is a warrior with a few elements of support mixed in. His talents will allow you to lean more on the side of tank/support or more on the side of pure damage.

E.T.C. is a great laning partner for practically any other Hero. If you build him as more of a tank/support character, you should probably be the only support in your lane. Conversely, if you build him as pure damage, a support laning partner would be nice, but not necessary as he has a kit that allows him to keep himself alive.

Tier 2

  • Echo Pedal: After using any ability, E.T.C. pulses twice for 10 damage.

  • Loud Speakers (W): Increases the range and knockback of Face Melt by 50%.
Tier 3

  • Stage Dive (R): Leaps to any location. Deals 100 damage. Slows for 3 seconds.
Tier 5

  • Fury of the Storm: Basic Attacks bounce twice to nearby enemies for 50% damage.
  • Death Metal (R): Makes dancing enemies vulnerable, increasing damage taken by 30%.
  • Rock God! (R): Reduces the cast and air time of Stage Dive by 50% and increases the damage dealt by 40%.
  • Bolt of the Storm: Activate to teleport to the target location.

Talent Builds

 Tank/Support
  • Path of the Warrior or Groupies (E): Groupies lets you heal your teammates, but Path of the Warrior gives you the tankiness that you’ll need to get into the middle of it when team fights start.
  • Loud Speakers: Superiority is decent, too, but the increased knockback from this is worth it for isolating enemies later on.
  • Block: Lessens the damage you will be taking. Guitar Hero can be fine, too, if you are taking a lot of damage in lane.
  • Mosh Pit (R): This will be your main tool when it comes to team fights.
  • Relentless: Any of these talents are viable, but Relentless makes it easier for you to manipulate the enemy team without suffering as much damage as you would without it.
  • Imposing Presence or Stoneskin: Both are good. Pick what you think would benefit you the most in that specific match.
  • Death Metal (R) or Bolt of the Storm: If you are having a hard time getting to the enemy to use your Heroic, BotS might be worth taking. If this is not the case, take Death Metal.

This talent build will greatly limit your ability to deal damage, but it will make you a great boon to the rest of your team. The point of this build is to make you survive getting into the middle of the enemy team and make them dance so your teammates can pick them off easily.

So Metal It Hurts
  •  Damage Slide (Q): This will give you a nice boost to your damage.
  • Loud Speakers (W): This will help you ensure that your enemy does not get away.
  • Any except Block: This talent choice will come to personal choice. Guitar Hero gives you more sustain, Monster Slide will allow you to do more AoE, and Battle Momentum will let you use your abilities more often.
  • Stage Dive (R): You can now catch the enemy off guard and rock them so hard their eyeballs pop out.
  • Face Smelt (W): CC is always useful.
  • Head Crack (Q): See above.
  • Rock God! (R): Makes your Heroic much more effective.

This build will give you the damage and utility you need to be a major damage source for your team. You won’t have the survivability of the above build, but you can kill your enemies quick enough to make that not matter as much.

Elite Tauren Chieftain Playstyle Tips

Throwing Elbows in the Pit
  • Mosh Pit is one of the most effective moves for team fights in the game.
  • Learning when to use MP will make you a great tank/support.
  • Try to get as many enemies with your MP as possible.
  • Try not to use it if you’re fighting an enemy one-on-one.
Face Melting Temperature
  • Face Melt is another great tank/support moves.
  • Try to knock back high priority targets into your team.
  • Avoid bringing enemies with CC abilities into the bulk of your team.
