It's time to bare those fangs and prepare for blood!

Last week, Bandai Namco released a teaser trailer using the hashtag #preparetodine. The trailer showed a dark, demonic kind of story with vampires big swords and lots of blood. It has now been revealed that this was the teaser for a new Vampire action-RPG called Code Vein to be released at some point next year on major consoles.

The game is set in the not so distant future in a time when society has crumbled, as well as the once proud symbols of business and infrastructure, due to a mysterious and devastating disaster. Underneath all the rubble lies a pocket of humans called the Revenants, fighters who, in exchange for their memories and thirst for blood, have had gifts bestowed on them to aid their fight. This society is called Vein.

Players take on the role of one of these Revenants and it is your job to put an end to this nightmare. With the help of a fellow Revenant and devices called Blood Veils, you must power up your character by draining the blood of your enemies which, in turn, help you enhance your own gifts resulting in being able to transform into demonic beings of increased strength and skill. All of which you can customize to fit your play style.

A full trailer hasn’t been released yet but below are some screenshots from the game to whet your appetite until we can give you some more details so make sure you check back often to find out more!
