The Square Enix developed RPG released in Japan on April 23, 2015 for the Nintendo 3DS, receiving a 36/40 from Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu.

As the sequel to the critically acclaimed Bravely Default, players can expect Bravely Second to have a similar turn-based combat system with many traditional JRPG elements, along with a story that occurs two and a half years after the events of Bravely Default.

You can expect to see some returning characters in Bravely Second, however the sequel will be following a brand new protagonist.

Expect an actual release date to be announced later this year, perhaps a February release date, just like the first Bravely Default had in 2014, will be in the cards. In the meantime, check out Bravely Default if you haven’t played it yet, and use this awesome guide  from GameSkinny to prepare.
