There have also been more recent issues with other content, such as homosexuality, in video games.

There are even more strange issues with certain seemingly harmless games, including Pokemon, Mario, and Dungeons and Dragons. This slideshow will highlight 10 of the most bizarre issues and controversies surrounding certain video games.

Surprisingly the PETA one is news to me. However, I did know that Pokemon had problems in Canada for being a source of gambling (i.e. Pokemon Cards) and that many Muslim and some Jewish communities had an issue with Pokemon for "demon summoning" since there was a whole issue about it. I think Gaijin Goomba did a video about it.

There was also a magician who sued Nintendo because he believed the Pokemon Kadabra stole his image. There were also accusations the same Pokemon was adorned with a swastika when it was actually the maji.
