Saints Row IV Gets Even More Pre-Order Bonuses

Volition Loves Their Fans...We Love Them Back.

Pre-Order Saints IV

Do it. Seriously, if you love the series and plan on picking it up anyway, then at this point there's no reason not too. I'm on the official mailing list and today I received an e-mail stating that if you pre-order the game, they will give you a Presidential Pack DLC:

Now if you're not aware, in Saints IV you play as the President of the United States. Now you can play as some former presidents and even Obama.

Volition knows their fans. I pre-ordered the Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition a few months back and check out everything I'll be receiving on launch day:

  • Saints Row IV Commander in Chief Edition
  • Alternative box art
  • 'Merica Weapon
  • Uncle Sam Suit
  • Screaming Eagle Jet
  • 12" Dubstep Gun Replica with Laser & Sound
  • Doomsday Button
  • Johnny Gat Memorial Statue
  • Iron Rogue & Queen Amazonia - Superhero skins
  • Presidential DLC Pack

There may literally be more by the time the game releases August 20th. They already released a Super Dangerous Wad Wad Edition that includes all sort of crazy additions (and also costs $1 million dollars). Volition seems to being showing fans of the game love and it shows with all these add-ons.

I for one couldn't be more excited to get my hands on all this stuff. I'll be picking up the game Day-One and I'll video an unboxing of the Wub Wub Edition so keep it at GameSkinny for the release!

Definitely getting there. I was holding off on the pre-order because none of the bonuses really appealed to me all that much, but put all together... hmm...

Seriously if you're going to get it anyway... Throw down the 5 bucks and pick up a bunch of cool stuff

Just picked up Saints Row the Third for my Xbox. It's the first game I've played in the Saints series and I must say it makes for a very refreshing change of pace. I like that it doesn't take itself seriously, it means you can just have fun with it without feeling like you're not accomplishing anything. As much as I loved GTA IV and can't wait for V, in my opinion it was one of it's flaws for me. There was this huge city that I could do almost anything in, and I felt like time was wasting if I wasn't getting the story done. That's just me though, I'm a bit odd like that with games.

I agree whole-heartedly. First of all play the first 2 Saints games if you get a chance (they're dated and glitchy but very fun) and I felt the same way playing The Third. I enjoyed GTA IV but find it terribly overrated. And when comparing The Third to GTA IV I always had way more fun playing Saints. I'm excited for GTA V (I guess) but felt so burned after IV that Saints in my eyes surpassed it in terms of quality.

Not to be "that guy," but the Obama mask looks way more caricature than the George Bush or Abraham Lincoln masks.

You know... I noticed that too. But Bush looks like a goblin (make him green) and Lincoln reminds me of Cletus from The Simpsons.
