Fans looking for more RPG action from their favorite Italian plumbers are in for a treat as Nintendo has officially announced Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros. The 3DS exclusive title will act as the fifth installment in the Paper Mario series and will combine the worlds of Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi.
Official synopsis:
When Luigi accidentally opens a mysterious book hidden away in Peach’s Castle, he gets more than he bargained for when characters from the Paper Mario universe spill out of the pages and start running amok. Players must take control of the terrific trio of Mario, Luigi and Paper Mario to defeat Bowser and Paper Bowser and bring the Paper Mario characters back to their original world.

Nintendo has unveiled the inclusion of new and exciting game elements, including trio attacks and a new ‘copy’ ability for Paper Mario that allows him to create duplicates of himself to bolster his power. Another new addition to the series is Paper Craft Battles. This new form of combat will take elements from rhythm games such as Rhythm Heaven and will have players dancing to power a giant paper aircraft to combat Bowser’s own paper militia.
