1 of 12

Nerd culture has hit a boom and it's only getting bigger.

It's long past the point where we as an audience have been surprised by the A-list celebs that pop up in seasonal blockbusters with fantasy, sci-fi, and comic book origins... but we still manage to be impressed when we realize what faces are behind some pretty big video game voice credits.

An excellent collection of memorable actors who have also done voice work in video games. As much as I love 24, I felt Kiefer Sutherland performance as Big Boss doesn't add anything to character while making me feel like I'm playing as Jack Bauer. On a side note, I'm going to miss Dinklebot.

Nope, he's a super-prolific voice actor and Solid Snake forever, but he isn't exactly known for his live-action work as a TV show actor.

The voice acting in MGS:V is top notch, and George Takei in RA3 was memorable to say the least. "All your base are belong to us"

I've always felt (and you of all people will know how limited my experience with MGS is) that the original voice acting in the series has always felt more "tell" than "show", it's interesting to see it take a different turn lately.
