Evildoers beware in the Crackdown metropolis…there are agents afoot. The creative minds behind Xbox One introduced a trailer for Crackdown 3 earlier today via YouTube. Players take control of agents in high-tech suits in a vibrant, modern city brimming with life.
Players utilize these agents to take down or “crack down” on criminals around the city. The agency’s in-game motto is “Justice by any means necessary” and the agency seeks to live by that.
As mentioned in the trailer, Crackdown 3 has a “multiplayer experience with 100% destructible environments.” No other open world game around offers players the chance to destroy the open world, especially while taking down bad guys. So now it’s not about what players can do with a weapon, but what players can do with an entire city at their disposal. Luckily, it appears that the city can be rebuilt, so territories lost to criminals can be “confiscated” by agents for the sake of justice.

Crackdown 3 is set to be released next summer in 2016 and is currently available for pre-order.
