The Challenge Modes on Injustice: Gods Among Us came hot and heavy lately (nearly one every two weeks). But, the prizes have often been characters for special events like the recently finished Blackest Night Batman for Halloween or General Zod to promote Man of Steel.
Despite these special add-ons, a number of characters from the original console game have NOT been available in the mobile app. Slowly, NetherRealms is bringing them into the roster. Aquaman was added only last month. The King of Atlantis was notably absent until then.
Now, another console original will finally make her way to the iOS version. Shayera Hol or Hawkgirl.
Still absent are Shazam, Killer Frost, and Ares. Also, other DLC characters like Martian Manhunter and Zatanna have yet to make mobile appearances.
You Know the Drill
There are five series of battles to complete the challenge. For each you complete after the first two, you win a prize. So, you don’t need to complete them all to win something.
For each set of battles you win, you get a part of Shayera’s gear (Cowl, Mace, Wings, Arm Band, Nth Belt). If you win all five challenges, then the Gold Level Hawkgirl is added to your collection.

•48 Fights Won – Free Silver Booster Pack (worth 35,000 credits)
You have 10 days to complete the challenge (ending on November 18th).
She Carries Mace… A Big One
Shayera hails from Thanagar. This advanced civilization provided her with the Nth belt, which allows her flight, super strength, and healing ability. She adds to that her skill with various melee weapons, preferably a sizeable mace.
In the Injustice storyline, Hawkgirl fights for Superman’s Regime in the alternate dimension. Once defeated by Lex Luthor, he takes possession of her Nth belt to not only rend her powerless, but to help aid the Insurgency’s efforts to thwart Superman’s control.
