Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link Being Developed by Platinum Games

Cygames recently announced a new Action RPG in the Granblue Fantasy mobile series to be developed by Action Game masters Platinum Games.

Japanese developer Cygames announced a new entry in the Granblue Fantasy series at its press event “Cygames Next 2016” earlier this week, and it was revealed to be in development by Platinum Games.

Platinum Games has developed games for many genres, but they are best known for their high-octane action games — such as Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and The Wonderful 101.

The original Granblue Fantasy was a traditional single player turn-based RPG released on mobile devices in Japan only back in 2014. Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link, in contrast, is going to be an Action RPG with a focus on both single and multi-player on a large scale.

While the first Granblue Fantasy was only on mobile devices, its sequel will apparently be branching out to different systems. The platforms that the game will be available for have not yet been announced, but some hints were dropped that there may be a PC version.

I'm just your average basement-dwelling eclectic and eccentric video gamer who does his best to make a point, share experiences, and talk to people without swallowing his own tongue. I'm mostly into Platformers and RPG's, but I'll try pretty much anything once, and I'm also trying to find something different and interesting to play, and then share with as many people as I can. I can also beat the entire first world in Super Meat Boy while wearing oven mitts.
