Japan and Europe are getting ready for Street Fighter V with exclusive consoles and a bundle

The hype for Street Fighter V is ramping up with Japan getting four different special edition consoles and Europe getting a 1TB "Ultimate Player" bundle.

Exclusive PlayStation 4 systems are going to come to Japan around the time of release for the upcoming console fighter, Street Fighter V. There will be four different versions

  • A white model with the standard Street Fighter V logo
  • A white model with Chun-Li and Laura
  • A black model with Ryu
  • A black model with Ryu and Necalli

DualShockers has also stated that the bundles will include a custom PS4 theme and sleeve designed by Yusuke Murata, a Japanese manga artist best known for illustrating football manga Eyeshield 21 and popular manga adaption One-Punch Man.

The price of these special edition systems is 37,480 yen, which is approximately $316 USD.

As for Europe, Sony EU announced a Street Fighter V bundle for PS4 will be released alongside the debut of Street Fighter V on February 16th.

The bundle will include the "Ultimate Player" 1TB Edition PS4, a dualshock 4 controller, and a physical copy of Street Fighter V.

The price was not given but other 1TB bundles generally cost $399.99. With 1TB you will have more than enough room to download the six DLC characters slated for this year and any costumes or stages that may come as well.

While nothing for North American Fans, Sony EU did not say that the bundle was exclusively for Europe, so hopefully a similar deal will be brought to the US.

Is it just me or do console developers really not know how to make an attractive looking special edition console? This one in particular looks really lazy. They literally slapped the logo onto a white console!
